Job description

Accounting Controller is fully responsible for correctness and transparency of accounting of one Czech and one Swedish legal entities (manufacturing companies), both in accordance with legal and corporate rules. Some of accounting routines are provided by Shared Services Centre (soon located also in Ostrov, CZ), some of them personally by the Accounting Controller. Accounting Controller also coordinates and structures accounting procedures. Important part of the role is responsibility of correctness of production- and warehouse-related data (material in stock, WIP, FG), handled by other people.


Key Responsibilities:
Continuous correctness of accounting data

Daily posting routines

Chart of accounts maintenance

Monthly and yearly closings

Correct and in-time-delivered data for monthly group reporting

Correct and in-time-delivered data for external purposes (VAT declarations, financial statistics, etc.)

Education and Experience Requirements:
University degree in Accounting

Five years experience in international production company

Experience with international ERP system (BAAN or SAP is a plus)

High level of English language

Background in accounting dept. with strong link to controlling

Understanding of IFRS and the difference between statutory and group reporting

Good level of IT knowledge

Readiness to travel internationally
