Handing
Details fo the handing of door furniture needs to be determined for ordering purposes. it is not essential to indicate handing at specification stage, it is sufficient for th purchaser to determine handing prior to ordering, using handing conversions detailed below.

Handing of Lever Handles
Only applicable in the following circumstances:
1.  Bathroom WC Lever Handles on Backplate
2. Halfsets of Lever Furniture (lever furniture is available in halfsets ie. a single lever handle on rose or backplate)

Handing of Pull Handles
Where applicable, handing conventions for pull handles have been detailed on individual catalogue pages.

Handing of Plates
Where applicable, handing conventions for plates have been detailed on individual cataloue pages.
thickness of modular plates are available as follows:
1. Aluminium - 3mm
2. Brass - 2mm
3. Stainless Steel - 2mm

Cleaning
Care should be taken during construction/refurbishment to ensure that paint, thinners, mortar or cement splashes are carefully removed from locks, furniture and hardware. Removal of these splashes with strong cleaning agents or scourers should be avoided.  Dirt and grime should be regularly removed with a soft damp cloth. A solution of mild soap and water may be required.  During cleaning, care should be taken to prevent cleaning solution from entering the cylinder keyway. Surfaces should be dried and possibly lubricated.
